Dr Ben is a graduate of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. After completing his five years of study, he headed south to Christchurch, working alongside Dr John O'Malley, PhD. Over the three and a half years he spent there, Dr Ben specialised in Applied Kinesiology (AK), a chiropractic technique that recognises the physical, chemical and emotional aspects to health.

Dr Ben has a special interest in treating what he terms functional illnesses - those conditions that present as a result of a body functioning below its optimum. These include but are not limited to things such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, colic, eczema, asthma, allergies, food intollerance, migraines, digestive issues, fatigue, anxiety, infections, immune issues and the like. 

Dr Ben is happy to treat all members of the family from newborns to the elderly. Particularly enjoying treating mothers and babies, as well as athletes of all ages. Dr Ben is qualified to treat extremities as well as the spine for injuries.
